The average skincare routine uses 250–365 disposable cotton pads per year for makeup removal, toner, and cleansing. Most are made from a cotton-polyester blend and are not recyclable. Even 100% cotton pads have a significant agricultural water and land footprint.

3. LastTissue — Reusable Tissues

The global tissue paper industry is responsible for the logging of approximately 37 billion trees per year. Facial tissues are among the most wasteful paper products in the bathroom: used once, for seconds, and discarded. They cannot be recycled once used.
